Importance Of Communication.

Smart communication is KEY.

Regular communication is key any relationship and LDR Dom/Sub are not exempt. In fact, one might argue that proper communication is more important in an LDR context to make up for the lack of physical affection. Healthy communication means allowing both parties to calmly express their thoughts without being judged or put down. It means having an open mind and trying to understand what the other person is feeling.

To be a good DOM or a good SUB, you need to talk to your partner often. It's hard to believe in a relationship when you don't know what's going on in your partner's life. Regular communication is key to sustaining any long-distance relationship.

Here a few things you must do:

1. Communicate regularly and creatively.

Great each other - 'good morning' / 'good night' every day. This is a must! Also, try to update your partner on your life and what's happening despite how mundane some of the things may seem. To up the game, send each other pictures, audio clips and short videos from time to time. By putting in this kind of effort, you make the other person feel loved and attended to. 

2. Talk dirty to each other.

Sexual tension is undoubtedly one of the most important things between couples. Sexual desire is like a glue that keeps both parties from drifting apart. Not only is sex a biological need, it is an emotional one as well. Keep the flames burning by sending each other teasing texts filled with sexual innuendos and provocative descriptions. Sexy puns work pretty well too. 

3. Regularly schedule your time 'together'.

Timing tends to be one of the biggest struggles with long distance relationships. Sadly, there's no magic easy solution. We're all busy and have our own lives and that's true of everyone, whether their partner lives a block away or across the country.
